your journey from Plakias to the Palm Forest of Prevelis you willhave the opportunity to admire all the
beaches of the south-eastern coastline (Calypso, Damnoni, Ammoudaki, Kleisidi,
Amoudi, Schinaria)

As
soon as you arrive at Preveli beach, you will see the tropical palm forest
emerging from the rocks of the Kourtaliotikos gorge and a large heart-shaped
stone located on the sandy beach. Don't waste time! Enjoy a swim in the sea and
explore the palm forest by walking along the river. The palm trees, the beauty
of the natural landscape, the sound of the running water and the small
waterfalls and the blue-green waters of the river will enchant you.Have a cool refreshing swim in the river and
enjoy nature at its best.
The natural
beauty of the beach is a Natura protected area so there are no sunbeds or
umbrellas but there are many trees where you can find shade.
There
is also a canteen for food, snacks, soft drinks and water.
There are routes from Drymiskiano Ammoudi to Preveli for those who want to
avoid the hassle of going to the beach via the many steps.
